There will be no Good Friday performances of Kneehigh's Hansel and Gretel at the Everyman and Northern Stage's Oh What A Lovely War at the Playhouse on 2 April. There will be 2pm matinées and 7.30pm evening performances for both shows on Easter Saturday on 3 April. The theatres will also be closed on Easter Monday 5 April.

COLIN THORPE: OUT OF THE SHADOWS features a remarkable selection of photographs from the vast archive of Colin Thorpe, official photographer for the Liverpool Playhouse through the 1960s and 1970s, having taken over from the celebrated Edward Chambré Hardman in 1962.
