Terms and Conditions

 

Tickets
 
·    Once paid for, tickets are non refundable, except in the event of a cancelled performance.
·    On receipt of your tickets, please check that they are for the correct performance, date and time as mistakes cannot always be rectified once a booking has been confirmed.
·    The venue where the performance will take place will be confirmed at the time of booking and is printed across the top of your ticket. Whilst staff will make every effort to ensure customers see their booked performance, no refund will be issued for customers who mistakenly attend the incorrect theatre.
·    Unpaid reservations will be held for a maximum of three days. Any reservations still unpaid for an hour before the show will be released for general sale.
 
Exchanges and Resales
 
·    Subject to availability we can exchange tickets for another performance of the same show; but tickets must be returned for sale at least 24 hours before the performance. An administration charge of 50p per ticket will apply.
·    We may provide a re-sale service only in the event of a sold out performance. The value of any resold ticket will placed as credit on the customer’s account and can be redeemed against the purchase of tickets for a future show. No alternative refund by cash, card or cheque is available.
·    Reselling this ticket for profit or for personal or commercial gain makes it void.
 
Latecomers
 
·    Please arrive in good time for the performance. Every effort will be made to ensure the admittance of latecomers at a suitable break in the performance but admission cannot always be guaranteed. This may also apply to customers who leave their seat during the performance.
 
Discounts
 
·    Any discounts must be asked for at the time of booking as the price difference cannot be refunded at a later date.
·    Discounts are subject to availability and only one discount per ticket can be claimed.
·    We reserve the right to introduce discounts and other price changes without prior notice.
·    Proof of eligibility will be required to receive a discount.
 
Children
 
·    All customers must hold a ticket to be admitted into the auditorium. Free passes for children under 18 months are available for suitable shows.
·    Any children over 18 months must purchase a ticket and occupy their own seat.
·    Children under the age of14 must be supervised by a parent or guardian over the age of 18 at all times whilst in the theatre buildings.
·    All age recommendations refer to the minimum age and are assessed according to complexity, issues and strength of language. Details of individual show content can be obtained from the box office.
 
General
 
·    The use of mobile phones, cameras and recording equipment is strictly forbidden. All such equipment must be switched off prior to entering the auditorium.
·    Special effects including strobe lighting, loud bangs, gunshots and smoking on stage may be included in a performance. Notices will be posted front of house on the night of the show regarding any such effects. Anyone who has susceptibility to any type of special effect should check with box office at the time of booking.
·    We reserve the right to refuse admission or request any ticket holder to leave the theatre and take appropriate action to enforce this right. 
·    In the event of illness of any member of the company *or any other unavoidable cause LMTT** reserves the right to make changes to the advertised programme or cast without prior notice. LMTT** is not obliged to offer a refund if this situation arises.
·    The advertised running times of performances may change so please check with the box office on the day of the performance for confirmation.
·    LMTT reserves the right in extreme circumstances to cancel any performance without prior notice. We will endeavour to contact all customers where possible and a full refund will be issued.
·    In the event of a cancelled performance LMTT will not be liable for additional travel or accommodation expenses.
·    LMTT cannot be held responsible for the loss or damage of personal property whilst in the theatre buildings.
·    For Health and Safety reasons, LMTT staff cannot assist wheelchair users to transfer into fixed seating. Please contact the box office to discuss any access requirements.
·    Information supplied may be used for registered purposes under the Data Protection Act 1998. Personal data will only be used when permission is given by the data owner. No personal information will be passed on to any third parties without the prior agreement of the customer.

Data Protection

Liverpool and Merseyside Theatres Trust is a registered user under the terms of the Data Protection Act 1984/1998.

We keep records of names, adddresses, telephone numbers and tickets sales information on our computers with the aim of improving the service we give to our customers. We would like to keep you informed about events and other developments at the Liverpool Everyman and Playhouse theatres. However, we will only contact you (by post, telephone, SMS text or email) if we have received your 'informed consent' that you are happy for us to do so either by informing us directly (by post or email) or in answer to a clearly stated request made during the ticket booking process. Similarily, only if you have specifically given us your consent will we share details with other arts orginisations in which we think you might be interested.
