Young People perform with AfroReggae in Williamson Square

Last Saturday a group of young people aged 15-19yrs old from across the region performed outside the Playhouse in Williamson Square with Brazilian cultural group AfroReggae as part of the first Liverpool Pride Festival.
Following workshops during the week which introduced the young people to AfroReggae’s exciting and energising Brazilian performance style, they then had the opportunity to perform in Williamson Square last Saturday afternoon followed by a performance, in collaboration with Liverpool Carnival Company and Armistead, on the main stage at Liverpool Pride.
