YEP letters

If you are aged between 11 to 25 years then you can be a part of YEP.

You don’t need experience or to have been to the theatre before, but if you want to give something a try, then YEP is for you.

YEP offers:

  • £5 tickets to see shows
  • Regular info on all our activities for young people
  • Opportunities to work on projects as a Young Actor, Writer, Technician, Programmer, Communicator or Director
  • The chance to help shape the future of the theatres
  • Guidance on careers in theatre
  • A chance to meet new people and try new things

There’s no YEP without you, so why not join today for FREE. Download this form and return to the Playhouse Box Office in Williamson Square. Don’t forget to bring some ID with you too.

There are currently several different strands to YEP which you can get involved with:

Satellite Workshops offer young people the opportunity to attend workshops to develop their skills which take place at regular intervals throughout the year. Satellite members will also be given the opportunity to decide on and programme workshops that they are interested in.

Young Actors gives you the opportunity to get involved in theatre productions and develop your acting skills via regular weekly sessions during term time.

Young Writers is a year-long programme working alongside experienced practitioners, which nurtures and develops exciting new voices to create a new generation of Liverpool writers.

Young Technicians gives young people the opportunity to learn and develop skills in technical theatre, working on Young Actors shows as well as assisting on other events and performances within and outside of the Theatres.

Young Communicators work throughout the year with the Everyman and Playhouses Communications and Sales Team to market and promote YEP shows, as in the future will be supporting marketing of our main house shows.

YEP also works in communities across Merseyside via a Community Engagement Residency programme run by YEP directors and staff to deliver workshops and projects that ensure access for all.
