COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT PROGRAMME
The Community Engagement strand has been developed in close partnership with our community outreach staff to identify and target specific groups and communities within the Liverpool district who would not normally attend or put themselves forward for participatory theatre activity.
These residencies could include a range of activity such as: a series of workshops; a ‘play in a day’; or a month long project creating a performance piece. This is part of our on-going commitment to work with young people from across Merseyside, providing access for all.
By working with established contacts and partners we aim to consolidate our provision and ensure progression and early signposting to our wider activity for young people who are interested in theatre. Community Engagement Residences are by arrangement with YEP staff.
