Following the success of 2011’s Reflected, Phoenix Dance Theatre return to the Playhouse with the company’s latest unmissable mixed programme.
Crossing Points features the world premieres of two contrasting dance works. Inspired by Magritte’s iconic painting The Son of Man, Ana Luján Sánchez’s Catch immerses the audience in an abstract, surreal world filled with intricate, dynamic and thought provoking choreography. SoundClash by Kwesi Johnson sees the dancers mimic the complex and beautiful patterns created by sound waves when made visible. The bill also features the return of Henri Oguike’s thrilling Signal, and another chance to see Aletta Collins’s sassy, hilarious modern Phoenix classic Maybe Yes Maybe, Maybe No Maybe.
